7 Hour Dili Tour TVH
You are picked up anywhere within central Dili, and taken to:
Santa Cruz cemetery, with an introduction to it by one of the people who was there.
A visit to Taci Tolu, which means “three lagoons”, which are salt water and attract many sea birds, including pelicans. Also here was the large gathering around the Pope’s visit.
A visit it to a Dili church, along the promenade past all the embassy buildings.
A trip to the end of the bay, to Crista Rei – climb to the statue and look out over Dili and spend some time on the beach swimming and snorkelling where a picnic lunch is served, with barbequed fish, then a second trip to Hara beach.
Visit to the fish market, to see the exotic catch.
Visit to becora market, to see the exotic vegetables and spices on all.
Visit to the cultural market, where Tais and other local produce are sold.
During the trip an attempt will be made to teach you some basic Tetun words and landmarks in Dili will be pointed out.
